Thanksgiving Appetizer Essentials
Time is flying and I can’t believe it’s November, which means Thanksgiving is almost here! It feels like everyone jumps from Halloween to Christmas, and if you’re hosting family and friends, I’ve pulled together my top Thanksgiving product recommendations to help you host with ease. Let’s start with hosting essentials for appetizers. Here are my go-to picks and tips.
Seasonal Cocktail Napkins: I like to pick something fun to tie in the holiday through seasonal colors. I found these gingham cocktail napkins that are a perfect way to do this! The pack comes in an assortment of fall colors with enough to host a large group. If you’re not hosting a big group for Thanksgiving, no worries, these cocktail napkins are great to have on hand for all your fall hosting needs.
Seasonal Paper Plates: One of my top tips is to always use paper plates for appetizers and dessert. This cuts down on dishes when you’re hosting and it also makes it easier for you because you don’t have to worry about buying and storing extra plates for appetizers and desserts. I found these adorable turkey plates that pair nicely with the gingham cocktail napkins! If you want something more subtle and a smaller size plate for appetizers these gold leaf plates are a great option too.
Seasonal Serving Pieces: It’s fun to tie the theme of the holiday you’re hosting with your serving pieces, but no one has space to store serving pieces for every holiday. Nora Fleming is the solution! She offers classic serving pieces that go with everything. So how does she tie in the holidays? Each serving piece has a place to add one of her mini charms to add a special touch. For Thanksgiving, the turkey charm and leaf charm are perfect to pair with her large serving platter, small serving tray or dip tray depending on what appetizers you’re serving.
Classic Serving Platter: I always turn to my Mariposa serving platter when hosting. It’s a classic piece and works great for serving all different types of appetizers.
Napkin Holder & Weight: I always reach for this when I’m hosting because I like to have a place to put cocktail napkins for guests. Mariposa is one of my favorite brands and we got our napkin holder and weight as a wedding gift over 11 years ago! Their pieces are durable and compliment all of your serving pieces.
Wine Coaster: A wine coaster is also great to have on hand, especially if you’re serving red wine and you want to keep it out for your guests.
