February Dinner Party: Galentine’s Bubbly Brunch

Leaning into my goal of hosting a dinner party every month, I wanted to do a Galentine’s theme for February. I thought brunch was more fitting with the theme, so I hosted a Galentine’s Bubbly Brunch and it was a perfect excuse to get together with girlfriends! If you’re hosting Galentine’s or need a reason to get together with girlfriends, here are some ideas to help you plan a Galentine’s brunch.

Menu: I did a Trader Joe’s haul and got seasonal candy from Burke, my favorite local candy shop. I like to plan a simple menu so I can enjoy time with my guests instead of spending all my time in the kitchen. Trader Joe’s has easy and delicious options that everyone loves!

  • Drinks: sparkling rose, grapefruit juice

  • Main Dishes: mini quiches, chocolate croissants, strawberries, Greek yogurt with honey

  • Sweet Treats: heart macaroons, Burke candy

Tablescape:

  • Table Runner: I started with this pink and white stripe table runner from Hester and Cook.

  • Heart Placemats: I added red heart placemats, also from Hester and Cook, to tie in the Galentine’s theme.

  • Bow Napkins: I love bows and they add a fun girlie detail. I found adorable bow lunch and cocktail napkins from Hester and Cook.

  • Centerpiece: I saw potted pink hydrangeas at Trader Joe’s and knew I had to have them. I got 3 and placed them throughout the center of my table and I think they made my Galentine’s table! I added pink candle holders and heart taper candles in between the hydrangeas.

  • I pulled from my hosting essentials for the rest of my tableware. I like to have a base of versatile pieces I can mix and match when hosting. Here are some of my favorites I always reach for and used for my Galentine’s brunch.

    • Champagne Glasses: These champagne glasses make any table feel elevated.

    • Water Glasses: Classic water glasses, I love the bee detail.

    • Bowls: I used these bowls for serving yogurt and also for serving candy.

    • Beaded Serving Platter: This is a timeless serving platter and I’ve used it too many times to count. It was perfect for the heart macaroons for my Galentine’s brunch.

    • Serving Platter and heart charm: Another go-to serving platter of mine. I love Nora Fleming and her charms make it easy to tie in a theme or holiday.

    • Wine Coaster: I like to have a bottle of wine on the table so it’s easy for guests to grab and always use this wine coaster.

    • Napkin Holder and napkin weight: The bow napkin weight paired perfectly with my bow cocktail napkins.

  • Candle: I always light a candle 30 min before my guests arrive to make the atmosphere cozy and my house smell good. This one is my go-to.

Goodie Bag: I like to make my guests feels special and made a little self-care goodie bag to put at each place.

Happy hosting!
