Christmas Centerpiece
The holidays are here! I love decorating for Christmas and dressing up your table is a great way to add some holiday cheer. If you’re hosting this year, I have festive centerpiece that is easy to make and takes about 5min to make one. Even if you’re not hosting, this is a simple centerpiece you can enjoy during family dinners all holiday season.
Start by going to your local garden center and grabbing a couple of bunches of garland branches (local gals, Bayside Garden Center is where I got mine and they were about $6/bunch). I would grab 2 bunches and you can easily make 2-4 centerpieces.
Order your favorite holiday ribbon. I used a classic tartan plaid and got a wired ribbon (I think it makes the bow look nicer). Then grab some scissors and rubber bands and your ready to start assembling.
Assembly Time for 2 Centerpiece: ~10min
Start by trimming the garland branches and making 2 bunches with the stems overlapping in the middle. You can cut the branches at different lengths depending on the fullness of the garland.
Fill in any spots where you want to add more garland. You’ll have to play around with this, but I promise it’s simple!
Secure the branches in the middle with a rubber band (optional).
Tie the holiday ribbon in a knot around the stems to secure them in the center and then tie a bow. Fluff your bow (easier with wired ribbon) and trim the end of the ribbon to your liking.
Repeat so you have a pair of 2. I recommend making 2 of these to frame the center of your table.
